SunShine

Of all the times I felt lost and alone

Never mind the deep conversations over the phone

Anytime I need you, You are always here

Telling me you love me, Showing me you care

Even when the world is pulling towards negative vibes

You're the breath of fresh air keeping me alive

No need for big words to look up the definition

You're natural, So real and it's always your tradition

I love it when you give those butterfly kisses

When your ... Read More

She lives But Not

She sits understandably incomplete
She smiles but she stands disconnected from reality
finally but not completely accepting that she is a lost soul
She feels like she has lived her whole life in a fishbowl

no one to console her pain
her thoughts of unworthiness drives her insane
she feels like she’s been judged too closely

She Lives but not

She feels ugly
because no one ever told her she was beautiful
her own mind is judgmentally brutal ... Read More

wait weekend( SIKE)

Sitting squashed
Playlist genre washed
Queued on a night where amuck is due
Cheap brew and high grade levels topics
No pen nor pad and its texting to Dilla tapes
She sang a blue note for a dog’s attention
Heated the earth with fire, to vent chemicals
Produce uniblitz tints
Dream housesit for as long as it takes
Made beds and bodies take acid bathes
Sickening rhymes muffled with a train pass
Side neck with your slick ass
All future mind blowings are on ... Read More

CRY

"CRY"    & nbsp;

NEVER TO BE BROKEN DOWN, OR FILLED WITH ANY FEARS.

The vibe on my new spoken sound, blessed me through these years.

Memories of days long gone, far behind and out of sight.

Those mysteries left me alone, and stranded every night.

In my past when ... Read More

Boys 2 Men

I have worked myself quite literally, to death

and sometimes my sons won’t even say thank you like it’s a waste of their breath

ok son, so now you think you’re too old to listen to what your mama has to say

Reminding me that you are grown just because you’ve passed your 18th birthday ... Read More

My words

My words cut deep like surgery;

Infiltrating your inward anatomy like disease

Giving you chills like in deep freeze.

My words open eyes

Leaving ignorance behind

A trait that leads many to their demise.

These words put in motion like locomotives

lead down a path f ... Read More

Growing Pains
I wanna get this off my chest before the rest
of whats left of my heart is ever broke again
All the lies that were said, and the games with my head
has left me lonlier then you'll ever know
I've got my own issues, I admit to that
And no one is perfect, I can live with that,
But I cant have a cheating girl I'm just tired of the pain,
And I'd let the stars cry for me but I'm tired of the rain,
And I realize that you dont know when it first starts out,
Just how long you ... Read More

Love [luhv] : noun, verb, loved, lov⋅ing.

What is Love ?
Just a word, and like any other open to interpretation.

However the idea of love tries to umbrella a complicated ever changing mesh
of feelings thoughts and gestures.

But Love is just a word constantly redefined by the individual himself.

For some women monogamy is not a factor in their definition of love
just as marriage is not a factor of love for some men

So seeing how personal the definition of love is
how slightly twisted every ... Read More

Words

Writing 'Water' does not quench thirst
Nor does scribbling 'food' calm hunger

equally invisible my poems seem to never reach;

i could mix blend and reinvent all the words the world has known;
and 'incomplete' would still be mine

because words are vague things that can never fill the void left by the absence of your touch.

Silly Boy

when his goals turned into silly dreams
he became a silly boy with serious issues
who doesnt hold his tongue and speaks his silly little heart

a boy who writes silly poems for silly girls.

Steam Coated Mirror

sometimes he keeps the hot water running in his bathroom sink
wanting a steam coated mirror to blur out his imperfections

and sometimes when he hates himself
he chain-smokes, because cutting hurts and leaves superficial scars
so he attacks his insides because thats where it hurts most

if he ever caught glimpse of what he really looks likes
he'd rock the gates in heaven
for God himself has never heard a man cry as loud as him.

Slaves Journey

They came as Invaders to my forefathers homeland,

With the mentality of enslaving its inhabitants.

Forcing them into servant hood,

To serve masters they never gave their loyalties to.

Led away like cattle as spoils of war,

Losing to weaponry they never seen.

Roaming the Saharan desert streets,

Wondering what will become of them.

Taken away from family and friends they'll never see again.

Hands lifted towards heaven to native gods that n ... Read More
